These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and related services (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, donors, registrants, volunteers, job applicants, and any other users of the Site.

1) Ownership & Acceptance

This Site is solely owned and operated by Chilume Ravikumar Foundation. By using the Site, you consent to these Terms, which may be updated from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2) Eligibility & User Responsibilities

• You represent that you are at least 18 years of age or of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

• You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of India.

• You shall not:

o use the Site in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it;

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ravikumar Foundation and its affiliates, officers, employees, partners, agents, volunteers, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• your violation of these Terms or applicable law;

• any content or information you submit or publish through the Site;

• infringement or violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights).

7) Donations, Payments & Receipts

• Methods of Payment: We may enable donations via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, wallets, cheques, or other methods through third-party payment processors. You authorize charges in the amount and frequency (for recurring donations) you select.

• No Goods/Services in Consideration: Donations are voluntary and without consideration. We may issue receipts and, where applicable and permitted by law, tax benefit certificates subject to our registrations and prevailing regulations.

• Non-Refundable: Amounts paid are ordinarily non-refundable. If a transaction error occurs or a donation was made by mistake, you may request a review by contacting us promptly; refunds, if any, are at our sole discretion and subject to our internal policy and applicable law.

• Chargebacks: In case of chargebacks/disputes, we reserve the right to provide applicable evidence to the payment provider and adjust donor records accordingly.

8) Intellectual Property

All materials on the Site—text, graphics, logos, icons, images, video, audio, software, code, and the arrangement thereof—are the intellectual property of Ravikumar Foundation and/or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

• You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publish, license, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or sell any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent.

• All trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed are the property of Ravikumar Foundation or respective third parties. Unauthorized use may constitute infringement and attract civil/criminal liability.

9) Third-Party Services & Links

The Site may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, tools, or platforms (including payment gateways, communication tools, analytics, and social media). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

10) Communication Consent (DND/NCPR)

By providing your contact details (mobile number, email, WhatsApp), you consent to receive calls, SMS, emails, and WhatsApp messages from us and our authorized service providers, including via third-party platforms, even if your number is registered on DND/NCPR under TRAI regulations. You may opt out at any time using the methods indicated in our Privacy Policy.

15) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, you agree that the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site.

16) Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site, superseding all prior discussions or agreements.

• Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision shall not be a waiver of that or any other provision.
